ITV's Knitted Ad Break
On Friday 18th December, one of ITV’s ad breaks was entirely knitted! It was in aid of its annual Text Santa charity fundraiser. Existing ads from Nationwide and a range of other companies were given the knitty once-over – read more about it on Let’s Knit.

Along with its news mascots the Knitting Nanas, Shreddies has launched a series of adverts since 2010 that celebrate our fave craft!
7up Free
7up’s ‘Feels Good to be You’ campaign featured urban knitters, including pro Magda Sayeg, revamping a run-down square in Chile.
Innocent Drinks
Knitting simply had to feature in the video for the Big Knit, Innocent Drinks’ initiative with Age UK to pop little hats on top of its smoothie bottles, raising 25p for each bottle sold.
Lenovo
This one shows actor Ashton Kutcher whipping up a knitted onesie – with a difference! We’d like to think he’s a knitter in reality too.
Sudafed
Sudafed present the woolly-headed feeling of being ill in a rather literal way. We like the knitty brain!
Aardgas
To illustrate the warmth of natural gas, this renewable energy company uses knitting to show how it keeps houses warm.

According to this advert, you can knit an ‘innovative set of leisurewear for your best friend’ whilst enjoying the beverage.
Nike
This live knitting advertisement in Shanghai shows three installation specialists constructing the Flyknit trainer on a super-size scale, to emphasise its similarity to socks.
