How to crochet

One of the great things about crochet is that you don't need much specialist equipment to get started. It's also a very portable hobby that you can take with you wherever you go. Once you've got your hook and yarn you are ready to start tackling the basics. First of all you need to learn how to hold the hook correctly, then add a slip knot onto your hook and start trying out basic stitches.
