Part 2 of our knitting and crochet project - The Friendship Blanket!

It’s time for part two of The Friendship Blanket Project sponsored by Marriner Yarns – eek! In this instalment, we’ve got three more textured squares in both knit and crochet forms. Just in case you missed the start of this blanket-along, the idea is that you buddy up to create a vibrant throw filled with different stitches or, if you prefer, you can make it by yourself. Here are some other things to bear in mind before we go. Each stitch pattern has a different tension, so a different number of stitches to ensure that all squares measure 15cm x 15cm – there’s no need for a tension square! Also, if you have enough yarn left at the end of each design, you could slip stitch around the edge to provide a neater finish for sewing up.
