Welcome to the last part of our baby playmat crochet series, everyone!

This time we’re not only using the plushy pineapple stitch, but making more fun zig-zag squares, plus another pocket with a tinkling bell attached. Then we’ll be ready to block our squares and join them all together! Remember that if you’re planning to give the finished blanket to a very young baby, sew on the embellishments really securely and leave off any hard decorations, like the bell. If you’ve missed the first three instalments, fear not! Here’s part one, part two and part three.
